Only had to work two days this week :) so was free to go windsurfing today as we are out to lunch tomorrow ! The wind looked fairly light and from the south I decided to give Levington ago even though it's not the best direction but it was the safest bet this time of year. I didn't even know what the tide was doing but when I arrived there was loads of water and the tide was still coming in, I had to wait ten minutes as the marina men were putting a yacht on it's stand for the winter. I parked by the marina entrance and the gauge was reading gusts over 20 mph ! I thought it might be too much for my 9.4 and I haven't got my 8.5 here yet ! Sadly by the time I had rigged up the sun had gone as had the wind !!! I set off hoping the wind would come back but it got even lighter :( the highlight of the day was a navy boat heading to Ipswich and loads of birds including squadrons of geese :) Windsurfing is such a frustrating sport enough to try the patience of a saint !!!!

PS. the ship that sailed past was HMS Quorn
